I was bored so I asked my half brother David if he could sit and try to smile for me so I could try out my first proper portrait photo, even though he was being silly i managed to get one shot that was good considering the lighting was quite dim (minus the brightness on that pic by about 30-40%) as the sun was setting so the best shutter speed i could get at 100ISO with the widest aperture I could get at the time, was 0.3 of a second.

Hence, I edited it slightly as I shot it in RAW mode and i blurred the background so it was about twice as blurred as the aperture I could get had the background only slightly blurred as I wanted him to be completely separate from the background.

At least next time I'll take it under better lighting conditions .

Note: I chose Children for the category as he acts like a 5 yr old, even though he's 11
